Solid Color Quilted Coverlet
While this coverlet is the color I was looking for and has a nice weight, the finish on the seams and hems is disappointing. The seams and hems are uneven widths, crooked and stitching has been missed. Without my permission Euro shams were substituted for the standard shams I ordered .

If only the color matched the photo...(sigh).
I love the look of this coverlet, and have been searching for a heavily-quilted matelasse type bedcover for some time. The fabric is substantial, and the coverlet looks beautiful on the bed. Unfortunately, I ordered it in Terracotta, which was picture as a medium to light color (like a clay pot). When the coverlet arrived, it was a very deep, intense rust - a beautiful color, but not the right color for my bedroom. I had to return the coverlet.

Still the one
I purchased this coverlet for my queen sized bed over a year ago.. When my husband and I decided to upgrade to a king, I was thrilled to find that Linen Source still had this wonderful coverlet, and I could get in in a king. Phew! Saved me from having to buy new drapes and accessories. It s truly a classic.

love this coverlet
I bought this about three years ago for my guest bedroom to go under my top comforter/coverlet, along with a matelasse I already had. I really like it, it is much softer than the matelasse, almost as if it's a cotton knit (but it isn't), and a heftier thickness and weight. It's a perfect weight to go with the other layers for the NC climate where it gets cold in the winter but rarely below the 20's (most guests remove the top coverlet, finding it too much). I've been doing some work in that bedroom recently and never replaced the top bedding from my last guests to protect it, and have noticed for the first time how attractive this quilted coverlet looks on the bed all by itself. I'm tempted to leave the bed as it is. I bought the chocolate brown color, and its a rich dark brown, to go with lighter colors on the rest of the bedding (aqua toile on yellowy-straw background) and room.
I can't comment on the sizing of the king version as criticized above, I haven't yet gotten one for my bed. But the queen coverlet is generously sized. The mattress is probably 16 inches and the coverlet hangs another 4 inches or so below the bottom of the mattress on each side. And I've washed it several times, so it would have shrunk by now if it was going to (though haven't used hot water)......... which it washes up nicely by the way, will fit in a normal sized washer without difficulty, the stitching has all held up and still looks like its brand new, just a bit softer. And unlike another reviewer, I would rank it as a bit heavier than most quilts. I recommend it. It's a very good quality quilt. I wouldn't mind having a few, in assorted colors (to LS staff: hint, hint).

Great quality quilt
I ordered this quilt in the cream color and am very pleased. It is very well made and heavy enough but not too heavy. It is soft, washes very well and lays smoothly on the bed. The stitching highlights the pattern and does not break or unravel after several washings. My only complaint is the width of this quilt for my king size bed. Granted I have a 18 inch mattress, but I don't think that is that uncommon anymore. I have to pull it down longer on the side that can be seen from the door to make it look nice. The other side then is not even covering the mattress all the way. Could have used 4-6 inches more in width. Other than that it is a high quality beautiful quilt.

This was exactly what I was looking for.
Quality is great and the color is perfect. Great for cool summer nights. Please note that the size for the queen coverlet is 90" x 92" which was even better. The website has it listed as 86" x 86".
