Gathered Hemstitch Bedskirt 14" Drop
Simple, yet stylish.
Good quality and makes the bed look complete. Just what we needed.

I was concerned that the price was somewhat high. However, it is well-made, the hemstitching is done very well and the weight of the fabric is perfect - worth the cost. The "ivory" color is nice - not too "beige" and it hangs well after ironing. I'm happy and glad I ordered it.

Looks Good But Quality Not So Good
I tend to be a high-end shopper, but wanted a basic king-size hemstitch bedskirt with a 18" drop in ivory. First, you MUST iron the bedskirt before putting it on the bed... out of the package, it's very wrinkled, and because it's 100% cotton, it's a bear to iron... kind of like ironing cotton shirts from the 1940s and 1950s. It took forever to iron. Requires lots of muscle and spray starch. It looks fine once it's on the bed, but the quality is not very good. It would be considered a "second" at any major department store, as the stitching has errors and the binding on one of the sides is mismatched. Fortunately, the mismatched binding was on the right side of the bed, which faces the outer wall in my bedroom, so not such a big deal, since it's not visible when you're standing in any part of the room other than on the right side of the bed. If you're looking to save $$$, this bedskirt will probably suffice, but you get what you pay for. Not a high-quality item, so if you're looking for quality, spend the extra $$$. Otherwise, it does the job.

I like the overall look on the bed.
My bedskirt was pieced on one of the sides. It is not very noticeable, but I know it is there.

The bedskirt is very pretty.
I like the bedskirt. It was just great to find one with a 21 inch drop for my antique bed. If I had to criticize, I would say that the fabric is a bit too sheer. The sheerness adds to the beauty so maybe a lining would be in order.

I wa disappointed with this bedskirt
The product was very wrinkled when it arrived. I tried ironing it unsuccessfully so washed it. To my surprise it was worse. After ironing it three times, the last time using a spray bottle, it was useable. I am a quilter so have a good steam iron. To add insult to injury, the mattress cover shrank so not longer covers the length of the bed. I would not recommend thjis product.

I ordered two of these bed skirts for a guestroom with twin beds. The beds have foot boards so I needed this particular item because it is split on both sides at the bottom to accommodate the foot boards. I could not be more pleased! I almost passed on these because the first reviewer thought they looked yellowy and cheap. I was very careful when opening the packaging in case I had to return them. They do not look yellowy to me nor are they cheap. I lightly washed them to relax the wrinkles from packaging and then ironed them so I got a good look at every seam. They are very well constructed, no uneven stitching or flaws...ANYWHERE! I love them. I ordered them to go with ivory colored quilts and they matched perfectly.

I have ordered from Linen Source in the past and was thrilled with those purchases. Sadly, this bedskirt did not come close to the quality of my last purchase. The fabric is a rough, cheap looking and feeling, yellowy cotton and does not look ivory at all.
