Classic Solid Flannel Duvet Cover
Soft flannel feels good
We have a queen size duvet. I ordered a duvet cover from Linen Source which was sized as "full/queen." Unfortunately this sizing is a bit too small for the queen size duvet. It causes the bottom of the duvet to bunch up inside the cover and I have to be careful the sides don't bunch up either. These covers do not have ties in the inside corners, which are useful to keep the duvet from shifting and my duvet has an area at each corner where you can tie the cover. Since this cover is slightly smaller than the duvet itself, shifting of the duvet does not happen in the flannel cover. However, at the same time I also purchased a Linen Source cotton fabric cover, which also has a wonderful feel, but the duvet has a tendency to shift around somewhat in that one because of lack of ties. Also that one may be slightly larger than the flannel one, thus causing shifting, which isn't too terribly bad, but if there were ties on the inside corners it wouldn't shift. The material of both is lovely, but because of the sizing and lack of tie-downs, I would not recommend this cover for someone who may have a similar duvet (with tie-downs).
